YOU ORDERED YOUR DRESS - WHAT'S NEXT

CONGRATULATIONS on choosing your dress! I will submit your order to the designer for them to schedule your gown. As soon as they give me a delivery date I will send that on to your so you can look forward to your gowns arrival.

Have a read of the below so you are organised for your bid day!

WHEN DO I TRY ON MY NEW DRESS?

I will let you know the MOMENT your lovely dress arrives so that I can arrange a dress try on appointment with you!

A dress try on appointment is 45 minuets so please be on time so you don't miss any of your appointment. This is for you to check your dress and see how your body feels in it now its new and most probably many months later. You can finish off your styling if you need to order a veil or accessories.

I suggest not wearing moisturiser or fake tan and wearing minimal makeup. I want to keep your beautiful new dress in perfect condition for your bid day!

Please note as a small boutique I can not offer more than one try on after your dress arrives. So make sure you round up your special people if you intent to bring anyone with you.

BOOKING MY TRY ON

You can book your try on appointment online!

However i recommend you don't book until you have been notified your dress as arrived.

I offer try on's on Thursday evening and all weekdays however not on Saturdays.

If you cant find a workable time online call me and Ill fine something that works for you.

ACCESSORIES

my accessories are online and if you like any of these its good to get those ordered al least 3 months prior to the wedding.

Some rushes orders can be organised but they could incur fees that I'm sure you would rather not pay!

If you want to buy veils or accessories elsewhere I suggest you bring them to your try on appointment to see how they go with your dress.

Feel free to call me if you need advice on colours or styles!

WHAT IF MY DRESS COMES IN EARLY

If your dress comes in early you can come and have a try on appointment as soon as she arrives. However you are not expected to take your dress away then and there if you are not prepared to. If you are not beginning tailoring for a while and don't want to have your dress in your home your welcome to leave it with me.

WHERE SHOULD I GET MY DRESS TAILORED?
Below are two very experience tailrining businesses I have had the pleasure of talk with.

You can book any tailor that is appealing you based on budget, a referral or location.

Sew Right are just off chapel St and very close to my boutique.

Be a Star Bridal are on the Nepean Highway.

GET YOUR UNDERWEAR SORTED

If you require any special underwear to go with your dress its good to get that early and test it out. At work, out dancing anywhere. Make sure I works well for you. I also recommend you wear or bring it with you to your dress try on to make sure it compliments your dress. You don't want to be working this out during tailoring

WHEN DO I NEED TO HAVE MY SHOES

It's essential you have your shoes before you start tailoring.

It's also a really good idea to have them before you dress try on if you can so that you can check how they look with your dress.
